From manufacturing to installation to recycling, our team of experts can install and maintain your battery systems and keep them in optimal condition throughout their lifecycles.

As part of our commitment to sustainability as battery manufacturers, we combine our products and services to support our customers from system design to environmentally-conscious disposal. 

We consistently invest in innovation and upgrades in our manufacturing and production facilities. The recent addition of advanced robotics, state-of-the-art cast-on-strap (COS) technology, automated acid fill stations, heat seal and testing equipment, helps ensure we continue to produce the highest-quality products for our customers.

Regular battery system maintenance is crucial to consistent equipment operation, performance, and most importantly your customer experience. Our qualified Master Distributors provide maintenance and support of our battery systems to provide reliable service.

We offer a convenient and environmentally safe recycling option for batteries that have reached the end of their lifecycle.

Over 98% of the components in lead acid batteries—including lead, sulfuric acid and plastics—can be recovered. We then use up to 80 percent of these reclaimed materials to produce new batteries.

We partner with licensed hazardous material carriers that collect spent industrial batteries from our Master Distributor and retailer sites and consolidation storage warehouses. These materials are transported to permitted lead recycling plants and these facilities use state-of-the-art battery dismantling and separating technologies to reprocess spent lead acid batteries. This results in reduced waste streams and increased peace of mind around “cradle-to-grave” responsibility.

Our recycling efforts are designed to support best practices in sustainability, reducing our waste streams and our impact on the environment.

Trojan Battery provides a safe and healthy working environment for its employees, contractors, and visitors to our sites, providing ample information and training to those entering our facilities. Our commitment is formalized through various policies and procedures including our Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, Business Partner Code of Conduct, our Compliance and Ethics Hotline, environmental governance procedures, and management systems. Trojan Battery Company employees, contractors, vendors, and customers are encouraged to speak up and report any violation of our Company’s policy or the law.

Human rights

Trojan endeavors to conduct business responsibly and ethically. We are committed to protecting the human rights of our employees and all other individuals who work with or on behalf of our Company. No Trojan personnel, consultant, or subcontractor will traffic in persons, procure commercial sex acts, or use any form of slave, forced, bonded, indentured, child, or prison labor. We treat our employees with dignity, fairness, and respect and we are guided by our shared values of integrity, collaboration, and accountability and expect the same of our business partners.

Labor practices

Trojan is dedicated to applying fair labor and employment practices, while respecting the national and local laws of the countries and communities where we operate. We provide equal opportunity employment and are committed to keeping an environment free of harassment, discrimination, and intimidation to all employees. We comply with all international labor standards including those related to: legal and voluntary employment, prohibiting forced and child labor, providing fair hours and wages, and ensuring safe working conditions. We expect our Business Partners to operate with the same integrity, and treat their own employees fairly, in accordance with local laws and regulations, regarding labor and employment. Business partners are required to follow all general workplace standards including those surrounding voluntary and fair labor, banning forced and child labor, and providing safe working conditions to all employees.

Fair operating practices

Trojan competes fairly and in compliance with all applicable anti-corruption and business competition laws worldwide. The integrity of our Company and its Business Partners is an integral part of our Company’s business practices and dealings, and we will not do business with those that seek a competitive advantage through unethical and illegal business practices.

Consumer issues

We educate customers about our product through transparent marketing information on our company website and correspondences (letters, agreements & mails). Trojan builds its quality management system utilizing ISO 9001 in our factories, working to consistently provide products and services that meet customer needs and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

We continuously strive to improve the system’s effectiveness and efficiency, taking into consideration the feedback we receive from our consumers in order to improve our customer satisfaction and product quality on an ongoing basis. We reflect the needs of our customers in our products, information, and services.
